Kandic is a fellow member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and has been a part of the team at Sutcliffe Matson Law for over 10 years as a legal executive. Before Kandic came to New Zealand, she worked in a global law firm - Lovell, White Durrant, in their Hong Kong Branch. Kandic is a proud Grandma and can speak Cantonese and Mandarin.

Breanna joined our team in 2015, working as a part-time law clerk while she completed her university degrees. She now holds the degrees of Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce. Breanna is now a full time Solicitor and her main areas of practice include Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estates and Trusts.

Braden Matson LLB/MA (Partner) approaches law with an interest in people, common sense, and a friendly and positive approach to work and life. He provides pragmatic, down-to-earth advice to help reach quick resolutions for clients. Braden is available for appointments at your home or place and time that suits you. Outside the office, family life keeps him busy but he likes to stay involved in the community. He is an avid sports follower, and enjoys a bit of fishing and mountain biking.

Solicitor
Sonam is a staff solicitor at Sutcliffe Matson Law. She has a Law degree and Masters of Law (Hons) from the University of Auckland (LLB, LLM (Hons)). Sonam started with Sutcliffe Matson Law as a junior lawyer in 2012 and has worked for other Auckland and Melbourne law firms before rejoining our team in 2016. Her principal area of practice is Commercial including Franchise Law, Business Law, Court applications and appearances, Civil and Commercial litigation, insolvency, debt collection, relationship property matters, employment law and dispute resolution.

Law Clerk
Georgia is in her 3rd year at Auckland University studying law. she helps provide support to the lawyers and staff.
Terry Sutcliffe LLB (Partner) qualified as a solicitor in 1976, and then moved in the commercial and corporate sector in New Zealand and England. He has also owned several small businesses and brings his personal business skills to advising and working with commercial clients. He also has a strong bias and empathy towards the area of elder care law, advising on areas of wills, powers of attorney, family sharing arrangements, and retirement homes.
